We, at Hightower Construction, are proud to be a part of the steeple construction for St. John the Baptist Cathedral. As a proud local general contractor in Charleston, we have a reputation for historic renovation and construction.

Working closely with Glenn Keyes Architects, the Cathedral, Division 5 Steel and Copper Exclusive, we have redefined the design-build process. This project focuses on quality and outcome therefore everyone involved feels part of a greater good. Through genuine thought and hard work, we are creating the most awe-inspiring steeple on the Southeast Coast. The construction materials of the steeple include precast structural concrete, cold mold boatbuilding technology, steel, stainless steel and copper. The combination of all these different materials create a structure with visual dynamicy, timelessness and strength. The prerequisite for all construction details is maintenance free structural longevity.
